The 28th Annual Subterranean Poetry Festival once again brought to Rosendale’s Widow Jane Mine’s cave-waves a group of poets new to the event, each of whom had come into contact with curator (& WGXC’s POET RAY’D YO host) Chris Funkhouser during the past quarter century. This benefit for CHHS, held underground in Century House’s historic limestone mine, delivered an afternoon of avant garde literature, singing, and sounds.
The readers in this years festival were:
- Katy Bohinc
- Lee Ann Brown
- Nancy Dunlop
- Philip Good
- Bob Holman
- Michael Joyce
- Erica Kaufman
- Joan Retallack
